Project Manager

Job purpose

Project Manager is responsible for driving projects for live clients, new implementations, branding and networking. Also, to ensure we continuously deliver every project on time, within the budget and scope.

Duties and responsibilities

Drive projects for live clients, new implementations, branding and networking.

Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.

Ensure project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed: managing and driving Project Schedule, Risk and Issue Management, Scope Change Management

Manage the project budget: understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively

Provide clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal

Facilitate/manage project communications and stakeholder client and project team expectations

Maintain and monitor project plans and schedules across multiple implementations

Prepare project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and change management and client approval documents

Manage and prioritize multiple projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met and regularly communicating status with all team members.

Helping outline forecasted client workload to aid in agency planning efforts.

Proactive partnering with the Branding team on a regular basis to understand and review client project roadmaps and priorities.

Source and manage relationships with production vendors.

Proactively identify and discuss solutions for potential blockers or production risks.

Ability to organize and understand project requirements that may at times be ambiguous.

Facilitate meetings with collaborators and circulate actionable notes.

Manage project billing, as well as budget creation and reconciliation when needed.

Support in the establishment and rollout of new processes and procedures that will contribute to better team communication and project documentation.

Confidence in managing projects in a constantly evolving environment.

Ability to create strong relationships and build trust with cross-functional teams

Scheduling, facilitating, and recapping project related team meetings (e.g project kick-offs, creative reviews, stand-ups, production inputs, huddle meetings for risk mitigation, and lessons learned).

Assisting in project management system training for new hires or system releases.

Software Background (Programming and Coding), Lamp Stack OR Mean Stack

Hands-on project management experience in IT service industry

Strong initiative and management skills

Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

4+ years of technical experience in software engineering.

Has worked on over 3+ technologies
