Job Description

OneByte is looking for an experience Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up new business opportunities and bring in new customers from international markets
  • Track down and work on all new business development opportunities
  • Manage the sales team and ensure the complete cold calling process is streamlined
  • Plan and execute lead generation through various methods and nurturing campaigns, programs and events
  • Work with clients on demos, proposals and contracts for new business development
  • Develop & Execute the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy
  • Build the business development team to penetrate new customer base and drive sales revenues in foreign markets
  • Assist operations head in writing proposals and providing quotations, pre and post sales support to customers
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and ROI focused reports
  • Develop and review action plans to manage customer expectations with development, deployment and support teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Find good strategic partnerships with vendors and clients for company products
  • Assist in planning and preparing presentations, various documentation and writing reports
  • Gathering information through intelligent research as part of self initiatives
  • Prepare sales and marketing tools to grow existing accounts and attain new accounts
  • Analyze market information and competitive intelligence, understanding customer expectations to perform strategic product positioning
  • Use best practices in email marketing, SEM and marketing automation to drive revenue and customer acquisition
  • Identify areas where further investment will yield targeted ROI

Skills and Qualifications

  • A recognized degree (bachelors or masters) in marketing or IT from a reputable university
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in sales and/or business development, with supervisory experience
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Alert, Confident and aggressive with a proactive approach
  • Ability to work under high pressure of business development
  • SEO, SEM, SMM and Mobile App Experience
  • Good prospecting skills on international companies for new business development through a variety of techniques, including online marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Must have IT products and sales background for at least 1-3 years and good understanding of IT terminologies
  • Candidate must utilize appropriate marketing and sales methodologies to develop new business in the field of IT
  • This position requires good telephone skills, administrative duties and communication skills
  • Good spoken English and experience in communicating with international clients
  • Candidates with successful sales experience in international markets will be preferred
  • Problem-solving, Client Analytical abilities and fast grasp
  • Internet savvy, web and mobile savvy will be a plus
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Passion for marketing and creativity Must be a people person and a team player
